On Wednesday, June 12, a woman was surrounded by four men at Lydia Drive and River Road who destroyed her vehicle's windows with bricks, attempted to forcefully remove her from her vehicle and stole her cell phone, Guttenberg police said in a release.
The woman said this all stemmed from a dispute at a recording studio in Union City, police said. She had fled from Union City hoping to avoid any issues, but was followed by the perpetrators, police said.
Police eventually identified the suspects as Youssouf Doumbouya, a 20-year-old Bronx resident, Joseph Agyemang, a 20-year-old Bronx resident, Jonell Danforth, a 24-year-old Bronx resident and Shavar Williams, a 29-year-old Bronx resident.
The four were charged with robbery, criminal restraint, criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. The four were apprehended by the New York City Police Department.
